Modernista!

Just the other day, someone from Modernista! came to speak in our class and today I stumbled upon their new “website”. Apparently it’s been up since April 1st. Is it a joke? Why is it still up? I think it’s pretty cool the new site is just a navigation bar that directs you to all these other sites (social media sites). This approach is pretty out there. It hasn’t been done before. I like it but I also understand why it’s getting a lot of bad press. I do agree with some people that it’s ugly, it crashes with the sites it directs the viewer to. With such approach, will their potential clients take them seriously? That’s hard to say. I guess time will tell. Clever or not, they are creating controversies and getting A LOT of press coverage. On a hilarious note, a parody has been made, it’s called Britnista!. Oh, Britney.
